About EIG

Twelve men.
One decision.

Extraordinary Investment Group was formally founded in 2020, in the middle of a pandemic — but the groundwork is older than that. Twelve Black men pooled their resources around one core idea: create change in the community through investment practices.

That isn't a slogan — it's the operating system. EIG educates individuals, groups, and organizations through Instagram, Discord, and YouTube, turning financial literacy from a private advantage into a shared one.

Today the group reaches roughly 2,000 followers on Instagram at @investwitheig — and the village keeps growing.

Before

The groundwork

Years of conversation, study, and pooled ambition among friends who wanted more for their community.

2020

Founded in the pandemic

Twelve Black men formally launch the Extraordinary Investment Group — and begin holiday giving to organizations and children the same year.

2021

The first Juneteenth Expo

EIG presents the first Juneteenth Black Business Expo, putting Black-owned businesses in front of the whole community.

2026

Sixth annual Expo

The 6th Annual Juneteenth Black Business Expo fills Veterans Plaza in Silver Spring — dozens of vendors, free to the public.

2027

Seventh annual — June 20

The village returns to Veterans Plaza, 12–6 PM. Bigger room, same mission.
